"I looked forward to. Nervousness before the start was, the race itself was tough, "Bauer said on his Web site. The final seventh place did not meet his expectations. "While I regret that I was unable to achieve dreamed medal I have to admit that although it's a very good result at World Cup, disappointment was. But simply six racers was better then me and I know that I fought, so I do not ever be ashamed"
The first race day for him at the World Championships in Oslo began unexpectedly. He had to the doping control. Then he finally moved to Holmenkollen. "It was cloudy with mist on the track. Lubrication was demanding also therefore that there was another snow around stadium then on the initial 6.3 mile long circuit" said Bauer, who went into the race with the number 75.
Beginning of the fifteen he came out well. But then came the crisis. "I started to bother with the hills, powers ran out very quickly, and even skis often skid".
Even so, he still held the ninth position. "But although the last five of racers was especially hard, I tried to fight, although at the beginning I pretty trampled in a crisis," he says.
Finally Lukáš managed to get to at least seventh place. "Although I hoped for medal before the race, but evidently not today," says Bauer, who already looks for more races.
